Painting & Mixed-Media
John works in Ink, Oil, Charcoal, & Acrylic mostly, on canvas and on paper. Most of his work has celebrated a loose, dark, cold, portrait of ‘no one at all.’ The colors and strokes are often rough and chaotic, and whimsical. Each face brings more questions about when and where a work is finished, and from which layers it derives its soul.
